Workshop Wonderland / Making a Performance for children

  • Focus on Ensemble creation including individual experience

There is Wonderland performance on Sunday May 13 in OT301 Amsterdam. Participants are asked to watch this performance as pat of the workshop.

In her workshop Makiko will use exercises, games and structures in order to help guide the dancer toward a creative, spatial vocabulary while maintaining a focus on group work. Her concern is for the dancer to be able to consider the space in a way which allows for the ensemble to merge creatively without compromising individual integrity.
Also Makiko will guide how the interaction with a witness works, share feedback from her project Wonderland, how to interact with kids and audience.
